Goldhofer easyLOAD goes HeavyGoods

The software easyLOAD from Goldhofer has been a key product in the heavy transport industry for calculating axle loads and vehicle capacities for decades.

Now that this Windows Desktop software has reached the end of its technical life, Goldhofer has teamed up with the IT professionals from HeavyGoods to create a new Load product. It will be unveiled at bauma Munich 2025 - at the Goldhofer booth FN.819 for one week starting from April 7, 2025.

The new HeavyGoods load software runs in any common browser and, thanks to its intuitive operation and advanced algorithms, enables fast and professional transport planning.

It's just as precise as easyLOAD (Goldhofer-certified!) and can do axle loads, bending moments, tilting stability and overload limits.

It is seamlessly integrated into the HeavyGoods platform, which also offers professional tools for cargo lashing and swept path simulations.

Georeferenced Orthophotos
+ 3D Drone Scenes

HeavyGoods now allows you to simulate transports on high resolution, true-to-scale orthophotos. Once you upload a GeoTIFF which is optimized for HeavyGoods, the orthophoto is automatically superimposed on Google Maps aerial imagery and scaled correctly. The high resolution (up to 5cm) allows you to plan heavy transports accurately.

When inspecting a narrow route section in HeavyGoods, you can directly open an associated 3D landscape model with a single click. You can then inspect the model in an interactive 3D viewer and even measure details of the route section including obstacle dimensions and areas.

The new feature is available for all customers with a HeavyGoods Business license or higher.
